Issue No. 62
When selecting the theme for this year’s edition of Fragments, we had no idea how relevant explorations of interlude would be at the time of publication. We find ourselves collectively in a period of transition, of disruption, where nothing is certain but the sound of our own voices calling out for one another to hear. We hope that you can find solace, inspiration, or a little peace in these pages.

On behalf of our staff, we would like to thank everyone who submitted, and all those who support our magazine in any capacity. We quite literally could not do this without you. Special thanks to the Seattle University departments that make Fragments financially possible: the Office of the Provost, the Dean of Arts & Sciences, the English Department, and the Creative Writing Program.

Thank you for taking time in your own moments of interlude to engage with ours.

In gratitude and solidarity,
