Walking the Labyrinth
By Ella Grayzel

Thoughts flit through mental fog thick as the seconds tick.

Heels click, sneakers squick even when they aren’t going quick.

Remember and recall as you meander and enthrall,

Reliving anew, thinking about what’s good for you,

Journey in and journey out,

We are but fish with legs wand’ring about.
